Description

Apparently, 18th-century aristocrats adorned their mounts with amazing braids and ribbons. I've explored the depths of my college library and came out with a book replete with paintings of horses from the days of yore. Let's just say I was inspired by the variety of horse coiffures. Who would have thought that tassels would work on manes? Fun, fun, fun! My conclusion: eighteenth-century (and early nineteenth-century) fashion was amazing.
